Good Morning.
Apple unveils first major product in a decade, Amazon unfazed by protests, Dave Ramsey faces $150M suit, Gen Z investment strategy? …FOMO, and Walmart stays on top for 11th year…
Here is your market briefing for today…
BEFORE THE OPEN
As of market close 6/5/2023
Markets:
Stock futures slid a smidge Monday night after a day of financial musical chairs that shaved off some of last week's gains.
Dow futures shed 22 points, or around 0.07%. Meanwhile, S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures, not wanting to be left out, managed to trip down by 0.06% and 0.1%, respectively.
All this follows a less-than-stellar day at the market show, where last week's applause was replaced by a modest booing. The Dow ended Monday down about 0.6%, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite trying to play it cool, only shedding 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively.
